About Cheyenne

I love witnessing kids develop their own personalities and learn about the world around them. Working with kids helps me see the world in different point of views I would've never considered. I've been babysitting for years but I started consistently working with children a little less than 3 years ago. First, as a YMCA counselor, then going on to work privately for families as well as professionally in daycare settings . I am really proud of my schedule making when it comes to children and sticking to it. I love finding different and creative ways to pass the time depending on the child's interests and hobbies. This includes art, reading, and nature walks. Patience and deescalation is a very important value to me when working in childcare. I will always try to redirect potential tantrums and talk through feelings.
