About Cheyenne

Previously employed as a preschool teacher with Head Start for 5 years. In addition, I've worked as a private nanny for three families. I am CPR & First Aid certified. My educational background displays that I hold a Bachelors degree in psychology as well as, an Associate Certificate in Early Childhood Education. My teaching style derives from an array of behavior techniques that I have gained in my many years of experience working as a teacher. Such as, consistent routine, validating feelings, redirecting behavior to avoid behavioral outbursts, positive reinforcement, and offer other alternatives and options, providing answers for critical thinking/reasoning, & offer support for building social/emotional understanding. My passion for working with children derives from the knowledge of knowing that the early stages of a child's life are the most impactful and influential.
