About Cheryl

I'm a friendly and approachable childcare provider with over 30 years of experience caring for children. My desire to make a positive impact on children's lives and support families led me to this rewarding career. I believe in open and honest communication with parents and follow their preferred method to discuss their child's day or any issues that arise. When it comes to enforcing household rules, I take my cues from the parents to ensure consistency for the child. I have some college coursework in early child development and have homeschooled 8 children of my own. I enjoy playing a variety of games with children, including board games, puzzles, educational games that promote learning, and technology-based games and apps. I'm comfortable caring for more than one child at a time and am happy to help with cooking, meal preparation, carpooling, and light housekeeping. I'm passionate about providing a safe, nurturing, and stimulating environment for children to learn and grow.
