About Cheryl

Hello, My name is Cheryl. I am a qualified caregiver with over 20 years of experience in the area of Dementia. I am a retired corporate administrator and co-educator with over 28 years of experience. One of the most difficult changes in a person's life is the immediate impact of the Dementia diagnosis. The consequences of losing independence, fear of the unknown, and wanting to be understood. This journey is not only lifestyle changing for the patient but also for the patient's family, friends, and associates. I am professional yet personable. My willingness to care for, listen to, and understand the importance of learning, yes, learning from the patient and/ or family the characteristics of the individual because no two patients have the same challenges or needs. I provide what the patient needs to navigate this life altering diagnosis, and that is my priority.
