I have worked with a very diverse population including seniors, individuals with developmental disabilities, traumatic brain injury survivors, and dementia. I am a Certified Brain Injury Specialist, HHA, CPR and First Aid certified. I have state training for administering medication. I am a very honest and empathetic person. I am patient, personable and professional in responding to people's needs. I have a very intuitive ability to respond to people's needs in a way that allows them to feel important and maintain their dignity. I have been learning about end of life doula services and can be available to help support families and patients with planning for and processing feelings towards the end of life. I'm looking for a an opportunity to get to know and care for someone who needs a little support in life to be able to maintain as much of their independence as possible.

Cheryl is a wonderful soul. She has been helping my senior parents for over a year, providing transportation, companionship and errand running. She is always punctual and dependable. She treats my parents with kindness, patience, and compassion and they have come to trust and depend on her, preferring her over other care givers. She is easy to communicate and coordinate with, and intuitive with my parents’ needs, always thinking of details that might have been missed. She constantly goes above and beyond and treats my family as if it were her own. We feel so lucky to have found her!
