I have been in the medical field for 30 years. I started out as a Nurses Aide in High School taking care of residents in skilled/non skilled nursing homes and have also done a lot of home health care to include general companionship, ALS, Dementia and Alzheimer's. I joined the United States Navy when I was 17 years old and served 20 honorable years as a Hospital Corpsman / Combat Corpsman. I have had extensive training in Trauma, First Aid, CPR and was an EMT/ Ambulance driver for 8 years while in the military. I have worked in both hospital settings and clinic settings. After retiring from the Navy, I was a Medical Assistant Instructor for multiple schools in the DFW metro-plex, and was the Program Director for the Medical/Dental program at a local Vocational School. I recently left Texas Health Resources where I was a Practice Manager for a very busy Internal Medicine Office and Rheumatology office. My passion is caring for people who cannot care for themselves.
