I was a personal chef for 3 families where I also had a special needs or Disabled senior that I tended too. I have worked for a lady who has Parkinson's for over 18 years. I run errands, do light housekeeping, and some cooking. I just got let go because her husband got laid off so there is no need for me. I also have taken her to doctor appointments. I am a very compassionate person and a great companion. I am fun loving and bring a smile to anyone's face. I have also worked with an autistic child who is 10. I was with that family for about 10 months. I have learned from this line of work how precious life really is and not to take anything for granted.

We are so happy to have Cheryl working for our family now as a Caregiver. Her positive outlook, proactive accomplishments and her devotion to caregiving sets my heart at ease, as I am now able to care for another in our family. She takes on tasks independently and with strong leadership skills and yet gentle and tactful with her client. I can tell her experience and the wonderful interaction between her and her client makes him very happy. She is a great cook, runs errands and accompanies her client to appointments and help him feel more independent now, which is worth more than anyone can ask. I guess one would say she does it all. She also cleans, organizes, helps to organize her client with memory problems and judgement calls, and assists with paying bills and overall household management. I am available if anyone has any questions and would like more specifics. I live out of town and am busy with hospice for my father-in-law while Cheryl is in Houston working for our other family member. Now I have two family members cared for in two different towns. Thank you and God Bless!
