While in college, part of my interns was working in diverse communities, including a school for disabled children. These children's disabilities were not limited to one or two. I have experience with physical as well as mentally delayed challenges that may face your child, including, but not limited to ADHD, Autism, wheelchair bound, speechless. I feel that where one may see a disability, there is often something so much greater within a child that we may just have to look a little deeper to see. My mother is a high school autism teacher. While it takes lots of patience and understanding to handle those situations, it also takes a special person to do so. Like my mother, my extensive healthcare experiences have given me that patience and understanding and I do believe I am one of the special ones to be able to care for your child. I am physically fit for transport if necessary. I am a fast learner and thinker to be able to be "on my toes" at all times. I am also aware of how precious your child is to you. I previously taught middle schoolers who were Behaviorally/Emotionally challenged. I also previously coached high school track so I have a wide range of youth experience. I look forward to working with you in the future.
