About Cherelle

I have always had a great passion for working with kids. Ever since I was 10 years old, I have been babysitting. I have babysat kids, ages ranging from 5-month-old twin boys, to a 12-year-old. I love kids and I love the fact that through their innocence they can make someone laugh or smile. Even though children can be very testy at times, I expect that they are well behaved and respectful. I am a very patient individual and I am willing to work with and will enforce whatever rules the parent expects me to instill while I am the caretaker. I have also worked at my university's daycare center since 2008 and have had the opportunity to be a camp counselor in 2010. I am an animal lover but I am terribly afraid of frogs. I was also a Resident Assistant at the college which I attended. After graduation, I continued my position as a part-time nanny for a baby girl who is now a 3 years old. I was able to form a life-time bond with her. Sadly, I had to leave to fulfill another commitment as a Corp Member of City Year Greater Philadelphia working 7th graders who are in need of behavior, course-work and attendance improvement. Currently I am a 2nd grade teacher and enjoy my career!
