About Julia

Hi there! My name is Julia; I hope you and your family are doing well. I just moved from San Diego with my husband and our 19-month-old son to the Broadripple area (near broadripple park). I am a stay at home mom looking to watch another child part time while at home so that my son can get more social interaction. I have a B. S in Child Life and Child Development. I have worked as a Child Life Specialist working in the hospital setting with children 0-18 years old to help prepare them for treatments/procedures and supporting their families through difficult experiences. I have also worked for first steps giving families with children under 5 years old the extra support that they need to succeed. I admire the Montessori & Waldorf teaching style and spend as much time outdoors with my little as I can. We have a playset in our big backyard and a small barn with baby chicks.
