I have worked in children's behavioral health for the last 4 years- specifically supporting children with mental health and special needs and their families. I love working with children with special needs and celebrating their uniqueness and the victories that come along the way! I strongly believe in play as a primary means of learning and expression for children and enjoy being creative in helping find what works for each individual child and family. I'm familiar with the special education and IEP processes and am skilled in various therapeutic techniques (CBT, Motivational Interviewing, SMART trauma interventions) and could support you in implementing some of these tools in your daily life.
