About Chelsea

Hi! My name is Chelsea and I am currently a student at EKU, majoring in Child and Family Studies, with a minor in Child Development. I have babysitting experience, as well as knowledge in the guidance of children. Kids are my passion, so I'm not really doing this for the money, but because I believe hands on learning with kids is the best type. I am most experienced with the toddler-6-year-old age range. I'd describe my personality as thoughtful, empathetic and responsible. I'm looking for a job that is okay with my college schedule, and is not needing everyday care. I do have another job so I'm just looking a few hours a week! I started working with kids when I was in 7th grade. I had my first babysitting job with these two little boys who were twins! I have been babysitting off and on since then, and I recently was a student teacher in a 1st grade class, which I loved. In my spare time, I like to paint, this is something that relaxes me that I try to do a couple times a week!
