I am a compassionate caregiver looking for part time work. I was an ICU nurse for 9 years, but took a break to assist in opening and running a family business and raise my children. My specialty is in geriatrics, and I have extensive knowledge of medical issues affecting the elderly population. I enjoy assisting with bathing, dressing, and cooking and am happy to provide house cleaning, run errands and prepare meals. I enjoy talking and understand how to communicate with those affected by dementia or memory loss. I am looking for part time work right now as I plan to take a full time clinical nursing position in a few months. For the right client I could continue to provide care on my days off, but the client would need to be flexible on the days.
