About Chelsea

I'd describe my personality as warm, compassionate, and curious about the world. I like tutoring because I have always loved being able to help people and I especially enjoy helping a student overcome a challenge. If you think it's too hard, I can show you it's not! I'm looking for a job that allows me to continue helping others in my community learn during afternoons and evenings & over the summer too. I started tutoring when I was in college. I already knew I wanted to be a teacher, and tutoring allowed me to get a jump start! In my spare time, I like to read, play video games, play with my dogs, knit, bake, and draw. One thing you should know about me is I always want to celebrate the unique personalities and strengths of my students. My skills include English comprehension & speaking, reading, and writing . While those are my top 3, I also have experience tutoring in math, science, social studies, handwriting, drama, and art!
