Hello! My name is Chelsea and I have been a caregiver for children, seniors and those with various different disabilities for over 15 years. I have taken several trainings in pretty much all topics related to caregiving of any kind. I have always enjoyed caring and helping those in need in anyway that I am able. I am great with helping with overall care of the individual, helping around the house with housekeeping, cooking, organizing and whatever else may be requested. I am fine with pets being around as well. As of today (6/27/2024) my schedule for July and August is kind of different, mostly for Tuesdays and Thursdays with the occasional Wednesdays due to summer activities already planned, but I do have an exact schedule for availability for that time. As of August 27th, I am available for a consistent schedule between 9:30am-3:00 p.m. on Mondays-Fridays. I look forward to hearing from you!

I take reviewing really seriously and never leave bad reviews, but I feel like it is my responsibility to let other people know about our experience with Chelsea. We hired Chelsea to be my bed bound elderly mom’s caregiver. With Chelsea we all set up a schedule that went to at least the end of 2024. Chelsea seemed kind and helpful for the two shifts she worked, but then after letting us know she couldn’t make it to the third shift (which was last week Monday), she completely ghosted us. When she didn’t come to the forth shift (last week Wednesday) we had just thought maybe something had come up and she just forgot to text us, but after not showing up to the fifth shift (yesterday, Monday) and not responding to our texts, it was clear she had ghosted us. I am honestly shocked by the irresponsibility of this. Caregiving isn’t just some random job, it is extremely important, and when you do a no call/no show for a shift, it leaves people without the care they need to live and with no time to fill the shift. Disabled and elderly people deserve to be treated with respect, and deserve the decency of basic communication. If Chelsea had told us last week that she wasn’t going to be able to do the job after all, we would have been able to immediately start looking for a new caregiver. But since she chose to ghost us instead of being honest with us, she left my mom with no care, and me scrabbling to find someone on short notice. We wish Chelsea well, and hope that whoever she works with next has a much better experience.
