Hey, I'm Chelsea, and I just moved to the UWS so I'm looking for new opportunities in the vicinity. I am a screenwriter and author who has always been interested in education, childcare, and pet care as well. I've used Care. com in the past with great results. I love kids and animals, and I've met a lot of lovely families and pets through Care. I've worked in childcare and pet care on and off for the last 12+ years, and I'm comfortable with all ages of children and all species and temperament of animals. I am happy to do light house cleaning or cook meals and tutoring is in my wheel house as well. I specialize in English test prep but can tutor all subjects through middle school and some others in high school too. I also am comfortable with children who have autism or ADHD, and happy to work with animals who need medication or special care. Because I work for myself/from home, I have a flexible schedule. Chelsea was finally the sitter sent by the angels I was hoping for when I was looking for someone to care for my 6 month old Boston Terrier puppy for 5 days in my home. I was having so much trouble finding a sitter whose requirement meets my standards, I'm a single pet parent, so Hedy is quite wary around new strangers. – She doesn't let them pet her right away or much of anything, really. Chelsea was patient, kind, and so thoughtful to Hedy's needs. Chelsea finally won Hedy over, and it brings me so much relief knowing I have someone I can trust now for future sits. Chelsea was also a respectful house guest. She left my home as if she was never even here. Thank you, Chelsea! -- Hedy and I went out walking today and she stopped and stared at a young woman across the street who was walking another pup. I think Hedy thought she was you. Think she misses you already. <3
