About Chelsea

I'm Chelsea, and I'm passionate about nurturing young minds and creating positive, engaging environments where children can thrive! With experience in early childhood education, including roles as Preschool Suite Chairperson and Lead Teacher at the Goddard School in Edgewater and Rockville, I've developed lesson plans designed to foster children's cognitive, social, and emotional growth. I'm committed to building strong connections with both kids and their families, prioritizing open communication to ensure each child's needs are met. In addition to my teaching experience, I've worked as a Camp Counselor at the Washington International School. I hold a BA in Communications from Penn State University and am fully certified through the MD Dept of Education, including my 90-hour lead teacher certificate. I'm caring, compassionate, and patient, and I love helping children explore the world around them. I'm excited to bring my experience and warmth to your family!
