About Chelsea

With 10 years as a CPS Music Teacher, I've worked with students from PK-12, including those with mild to severe special needs. I've also served as an English and math tutor, supporting students in core subjects. My experience teaching middle and high school choirs, along with time as a preschool teacher and nanny, has enhanced my ability to adapt to various learning styles and settings. Additionally, my recent immersion in Spanish through two summers in Guatemala has improved my communication skills. I'm now conversational in Spanish and working toward my TESOL certification. My my goal is to provide a fun, supportive environment that fosters learning. With a strong background in both academics and music, I'm confident in my ability to help students succeed and inspire them to reach their full potential.
