I am pursuing a degree in psychology-mental health at SCSU right now. I am a junior and have experience in the field. I interned at a day program for adults with traumatic brain injuries, developmental disabilities and visual impairments. My current job is as a life skills instructor for adults with disabilities (most on my caseload have autism). I teach them skills in regards to cooking, cleaning, bill paying, social management and transport them to recreation activities as well as grocery shop. I have experience babysitting a 13-year-old with developmental and social disabilities after school. I am extremely patient and work well with individuals on the autism spectrum. I can provide references from past supervisors as well as parents of my members.
