About Chelsea
Experience: 10 yrs
I am a professional teacher with both a General Education and Mild/Moderate Special Education credential. I have over 10 years of experience working with pre-K through 12th grade students in various settings, including mentoring, tutoring, substitute teaching, and full time teaching. I've primarily taught both special education and middle school (LOVE middle schoolers! And math!), but have experience in other grades and subjects as well (including high school chemistry, biology, etc.). In addition, I have nannied, tutored, and mentored children of all ages (including infants). I am CPR certified and currently have worked at a local hospital for the last several years as well. I am looking for ways to help students improve and succeed! I am a lifelong learner and love passing along the love of learning to my students, as well as the motivation to never give up. Chelsea was a house and pet sitter for us when we were away for two weeks. She lovingly took care of our dog, cat, plants, and home. She is a great communicator and kept us updated with relevant issues and cute pet moments, which made us feel assured our pets were in great hands. When we returned, the house was spotless (with flowers in each room!)--she had even stocked the fridge with enough to get us through a day without grocery shopping. Chelsea is thoughtful, trustworthy, and caring--I would absolutely recommend her!
