About Chelsea

My love for children began when I volunteered to work at the Saint Louis Crisis Nursery in high school. Since then, I attended school at Louisiana State University where I studied early childhood education. I worked as a preschool and Infant/Toddler teacher in various roles for over 10 years since then, but I currently work as a literacy coordinator. I'm certified in pediatric CPR and first aid and have many years of experience with trauma-informed care. I previously worked in a preschool that specialized in therapeutic schooling for children with behavior challenges and extensive trauma histories. I also worked in the infant and toddler suite at the St. Louis Children's Hospital Child Development Center pre-covid and during the height of the pandemic. Parents that I have worked with describe me as patient, kind, and attentive. You will no doubt have the same experience! Because I have a full-job, I'm only available to fill one-time and occasional care needs on weekends.
