About Chealsea

I have taught many subjects and am considered an expert in the field of STEAM Education. Science, Technology, Engineering, Art, and Mathematics are all covered in my teaching certification but I also have experience teaching ESOL, theatre, dance, and yoga and coaching general fitness, running, and roller skating. Most of my experience is in elementary education but my certification is for secondary (middle and high school) education. I am comfortable and able to tutor all levels and ages one on one or in small groups with a differentiated learning structure. I have been an educational specialist and advisor for many organizations including UCF, the Orlando Science Center, and Nemours Children's Hospital. In addition to teaching students I have consulted on curriculum and planning, led teacher training programs, and presented at educational conferences. Every experience can be a positive learning opportunity and I strive to keep education fun, creative, and engaging.
