When tutoring I do not feed answers, but rather help students build their own problem-solving skills. In person I have tutored 4th grade through high school students in most subjects. (I received a 4. 0 GPA in High School, so I am able to address any subject as needed.) I have recently been tutoring college students in math, especially algebra. I take time to go over EVERY step, EVERY time and address learning gaps, so students can confidently tackle problems on their own moving forward.

Chayla was hired to help our son to catch up with his classes and homework in Math but she went beyond that and helped with Physics too. He was so far behind he was resigned to give up, unmotivated by the virtual classes due to Covid restrictions. Our school's principal told us many kids were having similar difficulties. Thanks to Chayla, our son was able to catch up in both subjects, closing a gap from unit 4 to 11 in a few weeks of 2-3 sessions of 2hrs per week. Thanks Chayla!
