About Chase

I'd describe my personality as energetic, loving and intelligent. I like working with kids because of their absolutely joyful outlook on the world. I love interacting with their awe of everything around them and nurturing their curiosity and little personalities. I started working with kids when I was about 14. I have worked in professional tutoring for math, educating kids from pre-k up through 10 th grade. I have babysat regularly for most of my early adolescence in high school and college. Additionally, I worked for three years in my church in youth ministry. I have worked with kids of many ages, ethnicities, mental capabilities, and have adored each and every one of them. My skills include patience, understanding, and creativity. My undergraduate degree was in psychology with a focus on childhood development, so I have a better understanding of children's mental processing and how to best approach different situations.
