I am 24 years old and have nannied and cared for a child with autism for 4 years before going into the field of Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) as a Registered Behavior Technician, last year. I am currently attending Ball State University in the hopes of becoming a BCBA, while working full time as a behavioral aide in an autism specific classroom at the elementary level! Despite my professional career working with kids that are diagnosed on the autism spectrum, I have almost 10 years of volunteer experience working with kids of all different backgrounds and abilities. I am trained in basic seizure protocol, and have at least a year of experience/ with the following: administering epi pens, using communication and additive devices, tube feeds, checking blood sugar and administering insulin.
