If you have the chance to hire Charmaine for live-in care, don’t hesitate. She helped care for my elderly parents for five months in 2024, and was truly a lifesaver. At the time, my parents lived in a very remote location in the Adirondacks where caregivers are nearly impossible to find. My mom (83) has dementia, and my dad (88) was at the end of his rope trying to care for her and manage everything else in their lives. Hiring Charmaine for live-in care was a complete game changer. She provided the expert supervision needed for my mom’s safety, health, and personal hygiene, and went with her on multiple long walks every day. Charmaine took care of shopping, meals (she's a good cook!), dog walking, cleaning, and pretty much anything that my dad couldn’t handle. My parents have since moved to an elder community because of the lack of services in the area where they lived and the impossibility of finding other caregivers to regularly help out and provide Charmaine with time off. Charmaine helped manage packing and other logistics related to the move, and traveled with us from NY to VT when we moved our mom into memory care. Charmaine is a rare gem of a caregiver, deeply devoted to the well-being of her clients. Selfless, caring, insightful, generous, and full of energy. Hire her if you can.
