I am currently a preschool teacher, but I am looking for a part-time or full-time nanny position with regular hours between 7 a.m. and 3 p.m. on Monday-Friday. In 2002, I had my first professional child-based job as a mentor/tutor. From then on, I knew my place was to work with children, so I started taking early childhood courses so that I had some education to back up my interest. I have mentored under-level children (1 year), volunteered in several classrooms ranging from preschool to second grade (3 years), worked as an after-school teacher for grades kindergarten to fourth (5 years) and have been a nanny for 2 families (5 years total). I have been a preschool teacher for almost 2 years in my current position. I also currently care for two boys after school, ages 4 years and 7 years.
