I started working as a direct care aid in October 2018. I began working in a group home for special needs adults with 7 clients. My responsibilities included cooking, cleaning, showering, toileting, using transfer equipment, passing oral and g-tube medication, and much more. I couldn't have imagined what an impact this job would have on my life and look forward to continuing to work with special needs children and adults. I currently work at aimstar learning as a behavior technician for children reviewing applied behavior analysis therapy.
