Hello! My name is Charlotte (she/her) and I am looking for a regular babysitting/nannying gig within 25 or so minutes of Greenfield. I have 5 years of professional childcare experience in group care settings (preschools and after-school) and absolutely adore children. My preferred ages are 2-6, but I can definitely be flexible. In my work with children and youth I value autonomy, empowerment, and building trusting and compassionate connections. I am a current graduate student at Simmons University, where I am studying Library Science and I plan to work in children and youth services in a library setting once I graduate. In undergrad, I studied early childhood education and psychology. I have professional, educational, and personal experience with both Montessori and Waldorf approaches, but personally prefer a blend of philosophies and pedagogies that center care, trust, and growth. My first aid/CPR certificate has expired but I am working to get it renewed ASAP.
