About Charlotte

I swam competitively for seven years on a competitive swim team and I still swim frequently at the University of San diego on the Masters swim team. I was a swim instructor at Davis Summerdarts, a well known swim lesson association in my community, for five years. I worked with many different levels of swimmers and a variety of ages. I have taught children as young as 2 years old to about 13. Most of the swimmers I have taught were beginners. I taught them the basics of all four strokes; breaststroke, backstroke, butterfly and free as well as certain drills and kicking. For very young children I helped them to be more comfortable in the water as well as being under water and swimming. I like to create a very positive and safe environment. Swimming can be very frustrating and I like to make it fun and engaging for each of my students.
