About Charlotte

Accomplished production designer for independent films looking to get back to my childcare roots between films while the industry is in a slow spell. I'm creative, independent, calm in a crisis, competent, and love spending time with children! I've helped care for children of all ages, including infants, since I was a pre-teen. Raised by a firefighter/EMT and a social worker, I'm safety conscious and caring. My background in film gives me high tolerance for chaos and great creative problem-solving skills. I believe in fostering children's self esteem and excitement about reading, the arts, and nature. As a sitter/nanny I've always been more about outdoor play, reading, and hands on activities over screentime, but I'm also adaptable to each family's needs and norms. I love drawing with littles, reading to them, and going on excursions! I'm handy, drive a minivan, and like to think I'm a great role model - one of my former charges even grew up to be a cinematographer!
