I love being a caregiver because it allows me to invest in the total well-being of seniors, ensuring they receive the physical, emotional, and social support they need to thrive. My experience in senior care began after teaching exercise classes at a senior care center, where I saw firsthand the importance of movement, engagement, and companionship in maintaining a high quality of life. Later, I provided care for a family friend recovering from a hip break, further deepening my understanding of senior needs, from mobility assistance to emotional support. My degree in public health enhances my knowledge of wellness, safety, and healthy aging, allowing me to create a supportive and structured environment. I take pride in offering companionship, assistance with daily tasks, and encouragement to maintain independence.
