Hello! My name is Charlotte. A little bit about me-I started as a mother's helper when I was 11 years old, and since then, have been working with children. I babysat up until college and then after receiving a bachelors degree in art education at the University of Vermont, I became a Lead Teacher for the Infant/toddler program. I did that for 3 years and now, as a 26-year-old, I am looking to relocate while remaining in the same relative field. My philosophy of teaching and providing essential care involves enlightening the importance in life of experiencing and practicing eco-literacy, art, mindfulness, adventure, play, safety, respect, all inclusivity, and fun! Charlotte is a warm, silly and enthusiastic teacher. I have had the honor of working with her as her assistant teacher. Charlotte knows how to bring a child's interests to the forefront of their day in a way that is creative, artistic and engaging. She is very in-tune with children's feelings and needs and knows how to both support and honor who they are and help them to grow confident in themselves. Charlotte knows how to hold space for children in a capacity that is hard to come by and can meet a child where they are at with patience, grace and empathy. Charlotte loves art and the outdoors and is an amazing leader for kids to explore the world with. She always brings fun projects to the table That incorporate nature and the child's interest. The children I have seen in Charlottes care always form strong bonds with her because of her dedication to bringing joy and love to their lives. I would highly recommend Charlotte for any position relating to children.
