About Charlie

I am a mother to three nearly grown children (14, 15, and 19). I have a close relationship with all of my kids, and a strong love for children in general. I spent three years at Webster University studying elementary education with an emphasis is early childhood, then six years at the YMCA as a tutor, childcare center staff, and lifeguard. I successfully raised three kind, intelligent, creative children, and miss the chatter and creativity of young ones. I am artistic, love to cook and bake and craft, work in the garden, and have two big dogs. I love my pets, and I'm sure I will love yours. I enjoy reading aloud, and can help with schoolwork and art projects. Need dinner? I got you. I own a local cafe, so I know my way around the kitchen and will leave your home spotless. I'm gentle but firm, and do not believe in punishment, but in explanation and guidance and clear communication. If you feel I would be a good fit to join your village, I would love to speak with you.
