About Charles

I'm a college educated (Phi Beta Kappa undergraduate with an advanced degree from a prestigious California university) Manny looking to provide care, structure, and guidance to a child/ren at the Jersey Shore. I have over 20 years childcare experience including caring for special needs children and have been vetted by the Children's Home Society who conducted annual CARI background checks on me. I'm infant and adult CPR certified. I have experience with children of all ages. I raised three nephews from infancy to adolescence, was a Manny/tutor for a child in the court system who went on to medical school, and tutored and guided many students both academically and socially. I moonlight as a successful college prep counselor steering high school students through the college application and essay, admissions, financial aid and scholarships. I set the bar high for those under my care but know when to be flexible. I also teach tennis and skiing and am fun to be around.
