Hello my name is Charlene! I have been providing care for 15+ years including Alzheimers, Dementia, Parkinson, wound care, Sundowners, and hearing impaired. I started my elderly care journey taking care of my Dad unfortunately he is now longer with us but I certainly did learn alot from him. I am blessed to still have my mom. I have a great respect for elderly and love to learn from them. I am someone who loves and cares for people like I would want someone to treat my parents. My longest position was 12 years I am very loyal and dedicated to whom I am caring for. My assistance has included Social Interactions, meal preparation, medication management, Dr. appts (both in person and virtual), shopping, housekeeping, bathing of all types, assistance in staying physically active, or a simple game of cards! But most importantly companionship! I have had several families or individuals that I have had cared for in the past and I cherish them all. I am an animal lover as well!

Charlene has been a god send to our family and my mother. Charlene came to us when we needed her most and I cannot say enough wonderful things about her. She has cared for my mom who has dementia and a not so pleasant attitude at times, like she is her own mother. My mom is always clean and dressed nicely. Charlene is the type of person who doesn't like to sit still. She does my mom's laundry, prepares her meals, makes sure she receives her daily medications, keeps a shopping list of supplies my mom is running low on, runs to the pharmacy and grocery store if needed; she has taken her to her doctor's appointments, and keeps the area of the house that my mom occupies clean. Charlene is that person you hope to find when looking for someone to care for a loved one. She has become a member of our family and the ONLY REASON she will no longer with us is because my mom requires 24 hr care now and we made the tough decision to place her in memory care. She is punctual, dependable & honest.
