My experience with senior care has spanned over last six years and has been an emotionally fulfilling and enriching experience thus far. I have worked at assisted living apartments and in private residences with my clients ranging between 90 and 102 years of age. Some of my duties with this role has been companionship, meal preparation , continence care , Alzheimer/Dementia care , activity supervision , transfers and dressing . I believe that a senior caregivers main objective should be to maintain the dignity and well being of the client and to aid in the twilight years being the best it can be . I've always taken great pride in being an advocate for my clients and had the pleasure of being with my last client for four happy years . I believe that we owe a debt of gratitude to those that have paved the way before us and being in this industry is one way in which I can pay that favor forward.
