CPR/First Aid, plus AED certified. I was the overnight caregiver and companion to an 83-year-old man in Carefree who was physically compromised by a stroke... very frail. I cooked for him and provided companionship before I became overnight caregiver. Watched TV sports with him, read to him, watched the news with him, had long conversations. Managed his dozens of meds and monitored his blood pressure. At the same time I was daytime caregiver and cook for a 71-year-old artist in Cave Creek with Parkinson's.. I cooked and put meals up for her for weekends, and managed her numerous meds. I also drove her to her appointments. Among my "patients" was a sweet elderly woman with Alzheimer's. She eventually went to live with her son in Denver--she could no longer stay in her home. Recently two ladies in their 90s with dementia--one moderate and one severe.... she was bed- bedridden... needed complete feeding and care. Almost all have passed. I was with them until the end.
