About Charity

My personality is easy going, honest, reliable and relatable. I like caring for people because I enjoy getting to know about their life and I remember clearly what it meant to my family when I had caregivers for my dad. Looking for a job that has purpose and where I can help meet a need. In my spare time, I like to spend time with my husband and our little grandson. I like to hike and backpack. I love to walk my dogs. Enjoy reading and continuing education for counseling. One thing you should know about me is I have spent many years caregiving for my dad who lived on our property. He was a quadriplegic and in his later years lived with support of a ventilator. I helped manage his care and his caregivers. He passed in 2016. I also cared for my elderly aunt through her dementia and helped place her in a very loving care home when she went into hospice care. I am also a Certified Mental Health Coach and facilitate women's groups through an organization based in Texas.
