In junior high I took two full years of extra ciriculour classes that involved helping the special needs department at my school. I worked every day with those kids, helping them with assignments and crafts, bathroom breaks, etc. Since graduating I have watched and cared for many kids with special needs such as autism and down syndrome, ADHD, ADD, and children who's parents were drug addicts on crack, cocaine, heroin, etc. I have experience and a passion to help these kiddos grow up knowing someone cares regardless of their disability.
