About Charis

I've always loved taking care of children - as the oldest sibling and long time babysitter/nanny I have had lots of practice with children of all ages! It's a natural fit for me, and I believe my patient, friendly, and responsible nature makes me an ideal caregiver. I am currently a student at the University of Tennessee. I will be a junior in the fall of 2024. My major is Social Work and my minor is Child and Family Studies! With six years of experience, I have gained the knowledge, patience, and necessary skill set to be a great caretaker. I have some college coursework in early child development, as well as First Aid and CPR training. I'm also happy to help with cooking, cleaning, carpooling, school pick up, and running errands. I hope to make the parents lives a bit easier while at work, away traveling, etc.
