Hi families! I'm a career nanny that will be available starting early June 2025. I'm looking for full or part time and/or temporary care for the infant and toddler age group. I have an extensive background working with babies and toddlers in day care centers, nannying, and preschool teaching. I love spending time in the outdoors (playgrounds/parks, swimming pools, picnics, hiking, beaches, etc.) but also enjoy indoor time with reading, sensory play, music, etc.). I'm knowledgeable in the stages of early childhood development and milestones and can help with nap transitions, introducing solids, potty training, and engaging in cognitive and motor skills. In addition, I can do housework, run errands, and prepare meals. I have a car and clean driving record and know SF and all its wonderful offerings. If you're looking for a responsible and reliable individual for your child(ren), look no further.

Joy cared for our son from age 14 months to 3 years, and I can say without hesitation that she is truly extraordinary—a real-life Mary Poppins. The only reason why we're transitioning from Joy as a caregiver to our son is because he just started preschool. As a trained early childhood educator, Joy brings exceptional expertise to her role. With our son, she thoughtfully planned many engaging activities that balanced indoor and outdoor experiences. Indoors, she engaged our son with sensory play such as playdough (homemade because she's that creative!) and water play, art projects, reading, puzzles, and baking. Outdoors, she planned playdates, trips to playgrounds, library, age-appropriate hikes, the zoo, Children's Creativity Museum, California Academy of Sciences, and beach adventures. She's a very safe and capable driver whom we trusted completely. She led the way in potty training our son at age 2, and by the time he was 3, he could read the alphabet and numbers, spell his name, and recognize several words—all before preschool! She is kind, empathetic, gentle, and firm. She's always thinking ahead to ensure activities are both fun and educational. Her dependability, communication, and respect for our family's parenting style and culture made working with her truly joyful. Beyond her professional excellence, Joy became an extension of our family. Her big heart and generosity shown in countless ways—from sharing homemade treats with us (she's a phenomenal cook and baker) to inspiring us with her adventurous spirit. We even went on camping trips to Yosemite together, creating memories that will remain among our family's most treasured. If you're reading this reference, my advice is simple: hire Joy right now. She is an exceptional caregiver who will not only provide outstanding care for your children but will also enrich your entire family's life in ways you cannot imagine. We feel profoundly fortunate that Joy was part of our son's formative years and that she is forever a part of our family now.
