About Chantel

Hi! I'm Chantel. I am a responsible, fun, and deeply caring person who loves children, animals, and building positive relationships. I think it is important to have open communication, and a good understanding of parents/guardians schedules, rules, and expectations. I believe it is equally important that a babysitter/nanny build a fun and trusting relationship with the little ones. I started to regularly work with kids when I was 18, having babysat times before this. I was given the opportunity to become a nanny for a family that I had often babysat for as a young teen. I worked part time, every week day. I stayed with them for about 2 1/2 years, and only stepped away because I moved. This experience is one that I will cherish forever, and I still keep in contact with the family. I have been CPR, first aid, and Heimlich certified, although I don't know if I would need to get them renewed.
