About Channon

I have been a respiratory therapist for 12 years. I have worked in a hospital setting as well as a nursing home facility. I'm proficient with BLS and airway management as well as a strong work ethic and a tremendous amount of patience as my most recent position was teaching adults, mainly seniors how to manage their lung disease through education of medication as well as nutritional wellness and exercise. Earlier this year my father had a stroke which render me as his caregiver which included cleaning, organizing, meal prep (specifically for a diabetic with hypertension), and assisting him with walking and using the restroom. I'd describe my personality as kind, patient and a effective listener/communicator. I like caring for seniors because I enjoy helping people. I'm looking for a job that allows more flexibility with my schedule.
