I have a wide range of experiences working with children both inside and outside of the classroom. I graduated from the University of Maryland College Park, with a double degree in Elementary Education and Sociology. In addition to my year long student internship in a second grade class, I also worked in a Pre-K classroom at the Center for Creative Children in Jessup, Maryland, for summer 2010. Over the past year I worked as a Nanny for a family in Bowie. There, I cared for four children ages 3, 5, 7, and 17. Although I am young I am very passionate about working with children and have been doing so for many years. I currently mentor in a youth program and coach track and field. I believe that working with children is my calling and I plan to teach in the future after receiving my Masters degree.
