I'm the oldest of two, and the oldest of nine grandchildren so my experience has started at home. Growing up, I did a lot of supervising and care-giving inside and outside of my family. In addition to this, I have experience babysitting children with special needs, physical disabilities, and all kids ranging from ages newborn to 14 years old. I have volunteered in my church as well as in a homeless shelter while I was receiving my bachelor's at UF, so I have experience with kids from all types of backgrounds. I'm certified in CPR as well as Mental Health First Aid. I am also a certified Domestic Violence Advocate. I love people, and caring for kids is just a part of that.
