Hello my name is Chanelle. I have been in child care for over 30 years. I have a love and passion working with children of all ages from newborns/infants to school age. I was born and raised in the Idaho Falls area. I enjoy dancing, Zumba, crafts, camping, playing cards, gardening, all kinds of sports, and traveling and being outdoors to explore. In 2015, I moved to the Boise area and started working at a local daycare in the infant room and floated other classes. In 2018 I was offered a nanny job. I have loved and enjoyed my experience with wonderful families I have worked withover the years. I'm available for reoccurring care, overnight care, one-time care, travel and 24-hour care. Chanelle was wonderful with my toddlers. She provided them with structure and consistency. She was empathetic to their needs and helped them gain self-confidence. Chanelle was reliable and communicated with me what she needed as well as listening to my concerns. She adapted when necessary to the needs of my kids and built respect and trust with them. She allowed them to be individuals and voice their thoughts and opinions without judgement. As my kids started to outgrow the need for child care, they began to refer to her as their “Aunt”. I believe they did this so that their friends didn’t see her as a babysitter, but as someone that they were just spending time with. Any child could use Chanelle in their corner. She was great for our family, she still reaches out occasionally to check on how they are doing.
