About Chandler

I have known Chandler G since February of 2000, when I began taking my oldest daughter to her house for in-home daycare provided by Chandler's mother. I also began taking my younger daughter to her family's home for daycare in September of 2004. My children grew up alongside Chandler during the ten years they were in daycare in her home, and our relationship has continued after our girls no longer required her mother's services. Chandler was involved in the care of our children in her home on a daily basis. The relationship began as more of a sisterly or playmate role, but as Chandler reached her teenage years, I began to also hire her to babysit for our girls, first in her home, and then as she got older, in ours. She proved to be very dependable and reliable, as well as very engaged with the girls during her time with them. I remember very clearly the first time we left our youngest with her for a few hours at her home while she was still a baby. Chandler's mother mentioned to me that Chandler never let her out of her sight, and that she even sat by her bedside, just watching, the entire time she napped. Our girls always had a long list of activities to tell us about when we got home after leaving them with Chandler. She was up for doing whatever the girls wanted to do from board games to cartoons to craft projects. In addition to being fun, Chandler was also responsible, and we relied on her to feed the girls and get them to bed on time as well. We were never less than delighted with the care Chandler provided as a sitter. Chandler was finishing up high school right around the time the girls stopped attending daycare. It was sad to be ending that chapter, but Chandler's family had become like the girls' second family. Chandler has continued to keep in contact with them, coming to sporting events to cheer them on or taking them out for an afternoon of shopping and dinner and sometimes even a sleepover. It has been such a pleasure to witness her grow into the remarkable young lady she is today. It is my belief that she is a wonderful candidate for a position involving the care of young children. I have no doubt that Chandler will excel at any challenge that comes her way, and that she will be an asset to any organization that is lucky enough to secure her as an employee.
