About Chanci

At the age of 14, I began babysitting for family and close family friends, which eventually lead to me becoming a nanny and regular babysitter. I worked at an elementary school for 3 years, which I enjoyed immensely, and continued babysitting while going to school as it allowed for me to have a flexible schedule. I enjoy being around kids and watching them learn and figure things out for themselves. I embrace the Big Sister role vs. coming in as another parent-like figure, though I can absolutely be firm when need be. I've found that this approach has allowed for me to have a fun and open relationship with the kids I'm taking care of. I always like to ensure that there is stability and structure by maintaining house rules set by the parents. I also give full reports at the end of my time with them so that the parents are aware and up to date with everything going on with their little ones. The safety and wellbeing of the kids is my top priority.
