About Chabelie

Hi! I am Chabelie. I am from Knoxville, TN, and I am an associate teacher at Emerald Academy. I grew up in a family of 10, as one of the youngest, I spent most of my childhood and teenage years babysitting my younger sister and my various nieces and nephews. Most of my experience, however, is with school age children, as I have worked with 4th graders the last two years. I am the perfect English tutor for both native and non-native speakers of English, as I worked as a grader for ASU's English language program, Global Launch. While at UT, I cofound and lead the Russian Study Group, so I have experience in tutoring in a foreign language, as well. As a student worker, I edited student papers and helped maintain the course. I also am well-versed in Canvas, Blackboard, and the Microsoft suite. So if you or your student are struggling with technology, I'm the gal for you!
